I am writing this letter to document the experience that I have had with Ramey Homes, (Point 1: clearly one of the better custom home builders in Spokane). Ramey contracted to complete my lake residence with a construction time frame of 15 months. The complexity of the home's design and the difficulties of the site made this very challenging. The ability of their project manager and field employees to visualize ahead of time what needed to be done eased the entire construction process from design to closeout. (Point 2: As one of the better custom home builders in Spokane they have the knowledge and experience necessary.)

Ramey's attention to detail is obvious in the end result. The quality of the material and craftsmanship of my lake residence are superb from top to bottom. Maintaining both schedule and quality of this level is difficult. Making it even more challenging. I personally asked Randy if it was possible for the end of the summer. Without sacrificing quality, the project was complete two months ahead of schedule. (Point 3: As one of the better custom home builders in Spokane they care about the details and they care about the quality.)

I have found Ramey Construction, its employees and Randy Ramey a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone interested in construction a quality home. They build beautiful luxury custom homes.

Efficient Contract Manager

Dear Sir/Madam:

In September of 1996 my wife and I signed a contract with Ramey Construction to build our custom designed home. At the time we signed the contract, Randy Ramey, our contractor, gave us a detailed estimate of all costs involved in the construction as well as a timeline showing estimated dates of completion for each stage of construction. After ten months of construction, we have moved into a home which is of high quality and superior construction. (Point 4: As one of the better custom home builders in Spokane they deliver.)

Mr. Ramey and his staff proved to be very efficient contract managers and were economical in the way they spent our money. They consistently advised us about the difference in prices/quality of certain materials and allowed us to make informed decisions. They were very effiecient in hiring subconstractors and did an excellent job in coordinating their work and keeping construction going. Despite weather delays during an unusually bad winter, we moved into our home on the scheduled completion date and at the estimated price. We received excellent punchlist followup and are confident that should any future problems arise, the company will see that it is handled. (Point 5: As one of the better custom home builders in Spokane they are good stewards of your money.)

We would recommend Ramey Construction without reservation to anyone seeking a custom home builder or commercial construction company. They take pride in their work product, are responsive to their customers, and show personal dedication to the project. Their ability to coordinate with architects, subcontractors, utilities personnel and inspectors is superior. (Point 6: As one of the better custom home builders in Spokane they care.)

Uniqueness of Design

Dear J.J.

We've now settled into our new home, and I wanted to let you know how much we love it and appreciate your efforts in bringing the project to a successful conclusion.

As you know, this was a very challenging house to build - I think every sub-contractor I spoke to commented on the uniqueness of the design and how they had to work through many difficult construction problems. Of course, they also commented that the house was absolutely stunning, and then often brought their families by on weekends to show off their work!

Costs are difficult to control in a project such as this. In a "cost-plus" project, this especially so. I believe this is where your efforts had the greatest impact. Without, in any way, reducing the integrity of the design or quality of the construction, you were able to work with the architects to find innovative ways to reduce or manage costs and bring the project to completion on time and within budget.

Please pass my thanks on to Terry, Ivan and the other Ramey associates who worked so hard on this project, and extend our invitation for any of them to visit when they are in the area.

Guide Us Through

Dear Randy,

Jacki and I would like to thank you for the wonderful job you did on the construction of our new home.

As first time home builders, it was a constant learning experience. With you to help guide us through the many decisions that we had to make, it made it that much easier.

Kevin Peterson, your site foreman, was a great help to us. When we made the decision to go with your company, one of the reasons was the fact that we would have two or three people within your firm we could communicate with. I was willing to pay a little bit extra just for the peace of mind of being able to be in contact with someone if I had a question. I know in the residential construction business, you run into a lot of General contractors who's office is their truck and a cell phone, and personally I did not want to be put into a position where if that person was not available I had nowhere else to turn. That was the comfort of having Kevin there at all times.

We receive compliments on our home and the quality of construction that was performed on it constantly. We are very happy we had you build our home, and please do not hesitate to use us as a reference at any time.
